The short version
Alex Bratton is an entrepreneur, author, and adjunct professor of computer science who has spent 25+ years helping leaders apply emerging technology where it actually moves the business.
Today, as Founder & CEO of AIWhy Leaders, he works directly with founders, CEOs, and executive teams at mid‑market companies to build AI strategies, enable their people, and put AI to work in ways that drive measurable results - not demos, not prototypes.
He is also the Guild Leader of the AIWhy AI Builders Guild - the community he founded for the AI builders inside fast‑moving companies. The Guild is where technical wizards trade tactics, and ship Runnable IP that delivers enterprise value.
Alex is the author of Capability Equity and Billion Dollar Apps, and has shared his thinking with executive audiences at Apple, Southwest Airlines, Novartis, AT&T, the U.S. Army, the FBI, and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
“Don’t AI where it doesn’t matter.”
Most AI books tell you which tools to roll out; I wanted one that starts with your business. Your best people’s methods are worth real money every day and nothing at exit, because they live in heads that walk out the door and in vendor software you rent. Capability Equity is the practical method I built inside my own companies for turning the way your firm wins into Runnable IP - knowledge written so it runs, measured so it counts, and yours if you sell.
